An integral geotechnical management methodology was implemented for the management of the El Mauro tailings dam of Minera Los Pelambres.

The service considered the annual in-depth control of the densification degree of the deposited sands, a quarterly monitoring program with semi-deep PANDA Penetrometer and the verification and optimization of the compaction methodology, leading to a control by procedures based on test courts.
